Collecting and saving things is entirely up to each of us, individually. But...I think we must ask ourselves, "If something happened to me and someone had to come take care of this stuff, how would I feel?" If you decide you're okay with having your family members and/or friends clean up the things you've collected and kept, then keep on keepin' on. If, however, you'd be embarassed at this thought, perhaps you should consider tossing an item out here and there.

As for your situation with your neighbor...I think my solution would be to trick my husband into going over and offering to help "organize" and "properly store" her collections ;)Meganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02226254453627637061noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21392369.post-30619109370437034822011-06-25T14:20:05.749-05:002011-06-25T14:20:05.749-05:00I'm sort of a compulsive organizer so I would ...I'm sort of a compulsive organizer so I would totally be annoyed, but I would never say anything to her about it. I'm the suffer in silence type ;) I have the urge to purge my own house all the time and I still think I have too much crap. I told the kids (especially my budding hoarder, Eden) that they need to stop keeping every single drawing they've ever made or we're going to need a second house. I don't think it's wrong to be emotionally attached to things, but lawn mowers & cans of paint??? Not sure...Charlottehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03215179500068016932noreply@blogger.com
